Olympus’ Day With Dia & Meg Frampton
On February 13, 2012 we took our LS series of recorders and one lucky winner to the legendary Café Wha? for a very special press event with Dia & Meg Frampton. Within the walls of this historic Greenwich Village venue we showcased our suite of LS series recorders to the press, including the LS-7, LS-20M and our newest entry the LS-100 Linear PCM/Multi-track Recorder.
After members of the press had a chance to sit down and get a hands-on demo of our flagship series of recorders, ideal for the high quality audio demands of users varying from birding enthusiasts to pro musicians, they were treated to a special performance by Dia & Meg Frampton. If you’re a fan of NBC’s hit show The Voice you’re likely to recognize Dia as the runner up from season one. Dia, along with her sister Meg, took the stage of Café Wha? to perform the song Love Is from their album Cocoon.
Of course we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to capture their beautiful performance with the LS-20M HD Video/Linear PCM Recorder.
It was a great pleasure to spend the day with this sweet, charming and talented duo but as much as we enjoyed it there was one lucky fan that enjoyed it even more. Jess DiAna, the winner of our Day With Dia contest won the opportunity for a personal meet and greet with Dia and Meg.
And to make sure she was able to capture every moment in hi-fidelity audio and video we set Jess up with her very own LS-20M and TG-610 cameras.
Many thanks to Dia & Meg Frampton, Jess DiAna, members of the press and the great folks at Cafe Wha? who helped to make this a great day on the road with the Olympus LS Series of recorders.
